Small roof rack for extra goodies, shovel and high lift

So i'm looking for as big as a rack as i can buy that won't cost much.. duh

what i want it to do is be able to hold skis.. i have the thule ski racks already so all i really need is the rack part.

Also, i want to be abel to attach a high lift, shovel and lights.

Somewhere in portland u think i could find a used one for a deal or if u have one send a pic! Thanks

IF YOU, have one and would like to trade with a thule cascade box (see pic.) we can work something out

Check these guys out. They're local, cheap, and have great service.
What they sell is used, but you get a killer deal. Thats where I got my rack from:

why not just build one from conduit? build it to the size you want, and its cheaper than anything you will buy.

If you have a welder or access to one, preferably not a stick welder. 1/2" conduit is about $10 for a 10' stick (depending on where you buy it). If you don't have a welder, you can buy all the joints and it will just screw together, but that will cost you more.

Just remember if you weld it, conduit is galvanized so take some sandpaper and sand the coating off, and always weld with good ventilation

Here's one for 100 (w/o lights) http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/pts/2635026572.html

How bout one custom built just for you for 145? (he was running a sale for these for 125... so you might be able to work a deal) http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/pts/2631140315.html

All relatively cheap as far as racks go.... If you end up buying supplies, and trying to weld it yourself, it may not turn out all that good, and you have to figure what your time is worth.
