Sportsman's Warehouse is questionable too these days. Fine by me though, since they suck. Cabela's or Sportco (Fife) all the way.

Damn, auto light bulbs were half the price of Schucks, they were the only ones who carried 13" wiper blades. They were my go to place for other things too.

Sportsman's has new owners now. Lately they had nothing but I have a feeling they'll be back to normal soon.

Sportsman's got bought out by some Canadian company. Supposed to be back to normal in no time. The shelves here in Vancouver have been looking pretty bare lately.

I went into my local Sportsman's the other day and they had zero ammo on the shelves ... no .45, no 9mm, no 7.62, no 5.56, no .308 ... my local Walmart has been the same way though, so I don't know?

Yea its called OBAMA

Like said above, the best part apart joes was it was a good place to go for Everything i need for a trip. plus they have enough locations that you didnt have to drive far for what you needed. im going to miss them

as far as sportsmans goes, they are liquidating 28 stores. as far as i know both Oregon locations will reamain open.

Well that's what they get for trying to go the Politically Correct route.

I love GI Joes, but it did kind of piss me off that they changed the name last year or so. Well hopefully we will get some good bargins out of it.

There was a huge article in the Oregonian today about how this all happened. They did a good job playing it out, it was a store that had No financial problems at all, some big Cali company just wasn't making as much money as they would have liked. The problem with Joes is that when they sold they became expendable. I work at Joes and i cant even explain how upset we all are

I think all they have left in .45 is the @#$% G.A.P.
REALLY good idea that one...

Yup, that was all that was available on the shelf, lol.

Apparently the GAP round has equivalent ballistic performance to that of the ACP ... but why change a good thing??? G-lock getting too big for it's own britches if you ask me.

I didnt even know Joes was going under until i stopped in the other day to pick up some o/r lights and saw the parking lot full, better get anything and everything you need. I spent about 400 on friday and got just about everything i need for my jeep and then some. FYI pick up as many wiper blades as you can, i got 10 pair of rain-x ones for 10 bucks a pair.

The ammo situation is a national problem. The only place I've been recently that seemed to have much was The Marksman on Canyon Road in Puyallup. Even Sportco in Fife hasn't hardly had any. At least the Hornady 223 TAP ammo wasn't looking too bad when I was there last.

x2 on those wiper blades.

The only thing I didn't like about Joe's was their ammo prices.
