Looking at prices and shops in the Pac Northwest that offer remann'd 4.0 engines. Anybody got some positives or negatives from shop sin the Northwest?

Look up Jasper engines. They are locally-based and turn out quality remans for virtually all marques.

I went to a Timberline Jeep... $4200-ish installed. 3 year 100,000 mile Warrantee is nice though.

Stay away from US engines in Kent. Crappy work and they won't stand behind their work. The warranty is useless. IMOP

Portland Engine Rebuilders was good to me on my TJ. Did a great job and gave it back to me with .6 more liters! :-)

Portland Engine Rebuilders.... AWESOME. I'm slated for a new engine in the Beginning of January. What did the 4.6 run you?

EDIT: NM I see a rough price of about $1,995
