I'm currently with the wife and kids on vacation, so my weekends in August are all booked. I live in SW PDX/Tualatin area - in between you and TSF .

Been up several times this year, I think three times in July.....
Haven't yet this month, but there's a trip planned for the second or third weekend in Sept.... Gonna be heading into "Crushers"....
(well I WONT, but a couple guys I'm going with will be.... The plan is to wheel our way up there so they can play... then wheel our way back down. I'll post up details once we set a date/time...

Oh sweet have a good vacation! yeah I want to start wheeling more in a group. Salem jeepers seem to be a pretty tight group to join so idk what I'm doing currently.

I live in Gresham, work in Beaverton.
If you saw me down at the Salem Jeepers Summer Jam I was just DJing there....
I like to be active in the Jeep community as much as I can. So I try to get involved with as much as I can in local events, and with helping out fellow Jeepers with their builds, etc.....
I usually try to get out on the trails at least once a month.... doesn't always work out... but I try.

Lots more local activity in the Wrangler forum. I prefer Jeep forum for the tech side of things though. Seems to be more knowledgable guys on here.

Here's the plan.... Not 100% official yet, but as we get closer to the date we'll finalize things.

Saturday Sept. 15th... we'll prob leave/meet early AM.
Probably meeting at Tillamook State Forest - Roger's Staging Area 8-9 am or so.
Planned for a day run only.....
This will be a run up to and into CRUSHERS (at least the lower section) of the TSF.
This will not be a run for the inexperienced.

Although my rig is fairly well build, I'm not tackling the triple black diamond.
I will be wheeling with the group up to the filter into Lower Crushers, (trail route not yet decided, may be a last minute decision) I may even play a little bit there.
But I'll be leaving the XJ behind at that point to spot other drivers, and help pull cable, and assist with the inevitable carnage.
Recommended vehicle equipment for Crushers:
35's - F&R Lockers - Armor... LOTS of Armor. - Winch (a must)
Anything less than this and it will be hard on everyone.

I dont mean to exclude anyone, but for this particular trip we're sticking to the more advanced/difficult trails.
I will more than likely be planning another trip at some point in Sept. for a more novice run.

5+" of lift, 33's, OTK, Armored, Lighted, Chipped, Winched & Locked up Front.
