Trying to get a few people to go up on sunday... anyone in? were taking about TSF, and so you all know... its going to be really SNOWY mwahaha


My second try: 1990 Jeep Cherokee Xj 6.5ish" lift with tj componets, 33" duratrac's, oversized roof rack, onboard air, body armor.

Tj snow

how well do mud tires do in the snow, i went to tsf a few weeks ago and just a little snow on a service road and i was slidding all over with my mud tires and tricks hints

What PSI did you run? I don't have this issue and I run KM1s.

On the night run pic I posted a few threads above, I was running 10 psi . I had zero issues with traction or lack thereof.

For reference, 33x10.5 tire on a 15x8 wheel.

One of the jeeps at the night run was open diffs. We aired him down to 4 or 5 psi with a 35/12.50 mud terrain tire.

Where is the entrance to the Barlow road run? my friend and i are looking for new trays to hit up and the pics of Barlow road look awesome but i don't really know where to go or how to get there and all that.

After you pass Government Camp, take the turn off for hwy35. On the right side you should see a sign for the Barlow trail after a few miles or so.

It is closed to vehicle traffic until Mid April. You can only access it by snowmobile this time of year.
Also the first turn off for Barlow is right after the interchange from HW26 to WH35. If you miss it than the second one is a about a mile or so. and again if you miss that one there are several others :-)

so is that first trail after the interchange part of the Barlow road run? Also what is the best route to take? Should i go down the road for a while then turn around? I just want to have a plan before i go when the road opens up.

Anyone ever go out to browns camp or TSF during the week. Days off are Thurs/Fri and haven't wheeled my jeep yet. So I'm looking to try it out. 2002 Stock TJ 4.OL with a few cosmetic changes.

I currently have Thursdays and Fridays off as well (not quite sure for how long). I may be going up this Thursday as well with another YJ that is stock. Just going for a fun run really. There's more than likely going to be snow up there which is a different experience in itself.

Let me know if your interested and future week days are definitively possible.
