Noonday trail

Anyone ever been up this trail? I was up at the trailhead but there is still to much snow up there. Im planning on running it as soon as the snow is gone. Its the original wagon trail to get to the mines. It goes up to the top to the fire lookout tower at almost 6,000 ft. Heres a link to it:http://www.oohva.org/ohv%20area%20pa...y%20trail.html

Heres a few pics of the area:
The actual trail

Where the trail comes up and ends

Been up there lots. I'm planning a trip up when the snow melts. I'm up there on the quads a lot also. The trail is pretty easy its just narrow and has steep cliffs off to the side.

Head south to Cottage Grove exit and then head East up into the hills. I can give you better directions if you want. Its pretty simple to get up there. Tag along with me next time I go up.

Let me know when/if you guys end up doing a run up there as I'd probably be interested in going. I've spent a little time in the area hunting & 4xing.

It is not a difficult trail. Just has some tight switchbacks and is quite narrow. Nice scenery and you can explore the fire watch tower at Fariview Peak.

Just bumping this thread. A group of us are going to there this weekend. If anyone wants to head up there let me know. It's a pretty easy trail, with a ghost town and a bunch of old mines.

The trail is easy, and not very long. The area is pretty cool to check out. If anyone wants to run up there let me know I'm more then happy to go up and run the trail, and check out a number of other areas we found.
