Just glad I could help. His jeep has come a long way in a year, and big plans to come.

Yup the 17th. Probably will meet at the walmart in Cottage Grove that day. I'll have a time as we get a little closer.

Why did the TJ get stuck?

Right now, I am running a stock KJ (Liberty) and am trying to get things arranged so we can make it that weekend... but if I need me lift 1st, I will have to wait until next year and just read your write-ups and see the vids/photos

The trail is fairly easy other then the tight switchbacks and a few small mud holes, I used to have a kj and ran much harder trails. I did it in my tj with just 2 inches of lift at the time on 30 inch tires. The trail is a blast and not to be missed. You should defenetly join us.
The tj in our group did not get stuck, he got really bad death wobble going 75 on I5 and hit a cement barrier a few times

You really don't need a lift to run the main trail. It's just tight in spots. As long as you don't mind the tree branches rubbing your sides you will be fine. Looks like we should have a decent size group going, so it should be a nice slow run. Plus it will be some what busy up there with the breakfast going on. Don't forget about the pancakes.

Anyone planning on camping? There are a few state parks by Cottage Grove lake, and some small primal first come first serve spots very close to the trail start.

The Cabin and the Look-out have been booked for months. I tried awhile ago to get one or the other for this.

I would probably be camping. I am not worried about being able to do the stuff, I just want a couple more inches lol.
