New to Portland

Like the tittle says, we just moved here from Tucson, AZ. After a long slow move (26' truck, towing XJ) we just want to get out and do some camping/offroading while the weather is great. Where do you locals go to accomplish both. I am hoping to find some relatively technical stuff within 100 miles of Portland. Any tips?

Thanks in advance

Mike

Mike, Tillamook State Forest (TSF) has OHV trails that should entertain all types of vehicles. There are designated camping spots for the family to enjoy.

If you dont mind a little longer drive, you can go SouthEast about 200 miles to Bend and there are some awsome places to wheel out there
