Trip Update

Alright everyone, plans as of now are Peter Ire Dale parking lot at 10am on memorial day this Monday. CB channel 37, or PM me a phone number if you do not have a CB

I can meet people earlier and guide you to the rendezvous point, if needed just let me know. I will be leaving Vancouver, Wa at approx. 7:45 people are welcome to follow. Be sure to pack a lunch in case you get hungry, and bring a tow strap or a shovel if you have them. Their will be lots of sand, packed, loose and some mild dunes to have fun on.

Here is a bit of history/ reading on the area as well.
http://www.co.clatsop.or.us/Assets/D...ra%20Beach.pdf

So far this is the attendance list I know of
BenjaminPSYJ-YJ
sdmoose429-TJ
Bullblaster-WK
SmashinTJ's-TJ
AniesR-WJ
MissKays01WJ-WJ
xjlover99(brandon, maybe)-XJ

If you can't make it and your not on maybe status let me know if you can so I don't wait around for no shows. Anyone is welcome to come, so post this other places, or bring along friends I don't mind.

If you are coming late just head down the beach south and you should spot us.

Directions from Vancouver, WA and north via I5 route.

Directions from Portland, OR and south via 26
and via 30
Portland, OR to Peter Iredale Rd - Google Maps

However all routes are within 10 minutes on time, so from personal experience and knowledge of the traffic I personally would take the I-5 to longview and then cross to 30 route. unless that is way out of your way

Any questions feel free to post or pm me.

I should be able to go, I gotta work on the cb tomorrow and change my oil. But so far it looks like I'm a go. Might be a little late but I'm sure I'll be able to find y'all.

A recovery strap would be nice. However I think you will be pretty well covered for this trip. So possibly bring a pen and paper and when you see what we all have you may want to take some notes of stuff to pick up for next time.

I have a winch in case we are short on straps, my free spool doesn't work so i have to run it in reverse to let the line out so it takes a bit longer but it will pull you out if anyone is really berried bad

Good to know, I am bringing a strap and a shovel. Not to worried.

Anyways I did my pre trip check lol, I ended up changing my oil after all, adding gear oil in the rear, changing my rear Ujoint, and then greasing up every greese nodule(can't remember the actual name). Should be golden (trying not to jinx myself)
