Hey man that's a generous offer. I actually don't have a front driveline at all. I have the cv from the t-case but not the axle yoke. Was planning on just making my own square driveshaft for it. Problem I'm having at the moment is cash flow. worried about having the money to get the needed steel enough before the 8th to build it. And then on top of that I have to spend gas money for almost 200 miles a week just for Physical training before boot camp. Gotta love the always reasonable staff Sgt.

Not sure what kind of cost starting from scratch is, but I picked up a front driveshaft from an older ZJ out of my local wrecking yard for $30-$35... put all new Spicer U-joints in it for $17 a piece, and had it modified (shortened) and rebalanced for about $90-$100. Now this was for my rear drive line, so if you picked up a shaft out of another XJ from the wrecking yard, you might be able to just drop it in... and be done for around 35 bucks, maybe as much as $70 if you wanted to throw some new U-joints in it. So if you're gonna spend more than that fabbing one up from scratch.... you may want to reconsider. I've got a connection at another local yard who is starting to invest in stocking up on Jeeps, and I'd be more than happy to head down there with you (meet up - whatever) and procure you a new front shaft. I know for certain that they have several XJ's in their lot right now.

My info on here's alittle misleading. Sorry. I forgot JF and not FB. Lol. My XJ died on me. At the moment I have a 4runner with a 7" lift. Just to buy the long spline shaft for all the travel would run me over $100. A square driveline shouldn't run me more than $70 including the yoke.
Gettin a new jeep when I can. But for now this is my only option for wheeling.

Well, looks like I will be on stock tires like I was back in May...
Oh well, I am going out regardless. May not be able to hit all the trails I want, but I plan on having a good time anyway!

NW99XJ, any chance you can bring your SWR meter out Saturday if you still go?

Looks like it will be mostly sunny on Saturday, but we'll have the residual water and conditions, from the rain of the days prior to.
