Tell michael congrats on that! I didn't know he got one. Nice shot too.

Damn nice bull! My cow tag season began Dec. 1st, it runs thru March so I am really hoping to fill my tag. We have some private timber that we will begin hunting next weekend, can't wait!!

Tomorrow I'm off to Sauvie Island for a little duck hunting. Woo Hoo, love those ducks!

New to Oregon ( Brookings ). Was wondering if any body here knows where I can duck hunt in Oregon?

I wish you were closer as I could show you a few spots up north here.

I'm willing to travel a bit. How far north? I've been driving 2.5 hours to Fortuna CA to hunt with a buddy of mine when I was stationed there. It's been real slow. We've shot all the locals we can. They are all flyin high now, and won't respond to a call or dekes.

Portland area. I only know a couple of spots around close. Sauvie Island is the biggest area close by. If you can get on Oregon Fish & Wildlife's web page, look it up. It offers quite abit of good hunting.
