Went camping/hunting down around Ukia area on my weekend. Mostly forest service roads and some snow covered roads. We staged out of the Umapine campground. Jeep did well but didn't get into anything to challenging since we were by ourselves. Good time but this area will become very dry in another month or so. Going back out again next week.

Trip planned!!! My family and a few friends are going to try and cross the US53 Heppner to Ukiah on May 16th. This trip depends on if theres still alot of snow or if it disappears in the next week. If the road snow disappears we might just go explore some "jeep trails" listed on my topo map not sure. I will post update if things change.

All are invited to join. Meeting at Pilot gas station in Stanfield @ 8am.

New update! The 53 is clear and dry, so if you would still like to go we are just going to be exploring some back roads along that hwy.

we are going to go play on Arbuckle Mtn. off the 53. They have some snow as of now. We will be using Heppner as our fuel point before going to play.
