Did you ever make it out? I was out the day before and Firebreak 5 was brutal - even a Toyota on 37's (or perhaps 40's) was struggling a bit . Managed to dent my gas tank skid and engine skid - all on FB5. The wet and muddy conditions and rocks gave my armor a nice test, glad it passed .

Nope, I never did. We need to go next weekend. I told Dave he needs to come out with us. I just got a Rokmen TT and 35's on my TJ that needs to be tried out!

The only downside is those skid plates are REAL heavy. I wanted to go the Savvy route for weight purposes, but with the money I saved I was able to put that towards new tires.

I understand heavy, my UCF transfer case skid came in at 77lbs but is a solid 1/4" thick, I have yet managed to dent this skid. On the other hand, my gas and engine skids are 3/16" thick and I have successfully bent them (see prior post).
