Exclamation WOHVA 2012 Annual Meeting

This year the WOHVA Annual Meeting, normally held in western WA will be held in Spokane WA! Now in its seventh year, WOHVA has traditionally held their annual meeting each fall in the Seattle/Olympia area.

The Board of Directors agreed to move the meeting to emphasize the organizationís statewide accountability. The move will also allow OHV enthusiasts from western WA to see first hand how eastern WA OHV experiences differ from those in western WA. Not only will the meeting be held there, but on Saturday, September 15th, there will be an opportunity to do some trail riding near Spokane!

More information will be forthcoming as WOHVA gets closer to the meeting date. Mark your calendar for Sunday, September 16th 2012 for the WOHVA Annual Meeting and see you in Spokane! In the meantime, please click on the following link to provide us with some advance planning information: w w w . dog-walker.us/WOHVA 2012 Annual Meeting Survey 1,htm

Please complete the survey ONLY if you plan on attending.

WOHVA is an alliance of organizations, clubs, businesses, and individuals who work with legislators in Olympia and with local land managers to protect your interest in keeping areas, roads, and trails open to OHVs (ATVs, 4x4s, and dirt bikes).

Couple questions.

What's the bowl and picture you mention on the website. Thought it was the bowl and pitcher.

And the fellowship at timber creek grill, when I think fellowship, I think religious gathering, is this the case?

Thanks in advance. I'm attending, and I can provide trailer parking for those traveling.

Probably should be "chit-chat".

Thanks for the offer. If you'll send me an e-mail outside of the forum I'll get your contact info and let anyone know. Where in Spokane are you located?

Thanks,

i'll put the majority of the information on here, so at least its already available here.

What I am able to offer is just basic parking for your truck/trailer. unfortunately i can't accommodate any rv's or overnight campers (includes sleeping in your truck). The location is in Airway Heights, 3 minutes from the local Walmart, so if your planning an rv or overnight truck snooze, that's a very close option. The advantage to what i'm offering is, the property is gated, and very well watched. Its my grandparents farm, where my mother is currently staying. All vehicles have to be checked in by me, just because grandpa is superstitious, and with this world, i don't blame him. Most parking will be covered, 5 minutes from the freeway with no traffic lights, less than 10 minutes from 7 mile ORV park, all backroads. If anyone wants to do this, I will need a minimum of 48 hours notice, and all rigs will have to be on the road by 9am Monday morning, due to having to be back at work cause its, well, monday.

Paulp575 not sure if your email is the 4x4er on the link, but my contact email is powerpack92@yahoo.com.

On another note, do we get a list of attendee's a few days before a meet? this would be my first WOHVA meet, but not my first offroad meet. This one is just more, official, than the ones I'm used to.

Due to anticipated attendance, we have moved the meeting from Barton Jeep to the Spokane Library located at 12004 East Main Ave. That is one block north and one block west of the intersection of Sprague and Pines.
