Winchester Bay President's Day Weekend

A buddy told me there's a group of Jeep guys who do this every year. I'm going to head down there with a couple other rigs. Anyone know what group it is? And anyone else going to be going that weekend? Here are a few recent pictures:

Will do. I'm going to take the TJ. The JK in the sand is a pig. Lighter TJ with a lot more horsepower and torque makes for a lot better dune climbs!

Anyone else going to be down there?

Wow I use to work at the Jeep, Subaru Hummer store years ago and I cant ever imagine any of the old managers actually owning a wrangler let alone go four wheeling, I'm impressed. I remember when they pulled the first rubicon off the truck, they couldn't care less

I got a bunch of the other GMs wheeling now too. Acura GM has a stroked TJ, Honda GM has a Hemi JK, Honda GSM has a TJ, VW GM has a JK, and our boss wheels a bad FJ40 with an LS1 motor. They are all pretty heavily modded. How long ago did you work there?

He did. Sold it a while ago.
I've been with the company since 1999. When you were here I was the GSM at the Honda store. Would have stayed there, but Hondas buyers just didn't seem to appreciate my ideas on mods...

That's funny, I love the CRV, I was there 98 tell 03, or 04, I cant rember, anyhow I did detail and recon. It was a fun job at the time, but detail always had it's,,, um chalanges, there was, at that time, some really sketchy people working in that department. I'm glad to see that someone who actually enjoys the hobby running the Jeep store . It's quite funny at the time I was talking to the old gm, and asked him, Hey why don't we take a Base SE and through on a 4 inch lift and some bumper and maybe a winch, people whould love it, you could finance it in and people whoul love it on the show room , He didn't get it

Reminder: I'm heading out tomorrow. If anyone goes down there, look for us. I'll be in my blue TJ and we'll have probably 8-10 in our group.
