A small group of NW JKers (all models) went out to Walker Valley OHV Area on Saturday, Oct 29th. Great day, perfect weather, wet trails and rock faces.

Hey Fred,

I just remembered someone told me I should talk to you about going wheeling with you and the NWJK group at walker sometime. Although it appears I would be the baby/little Jeep of the group.

Come on out anytime. Doesn't matter what level build you are at or just stock. We make sure everyone gets through. There are also bypasses for the more interesting stuff.

We are planning Evans Creek on the 12th.

Looks like a ton of fun! What kind of hood vents are those on the black jeep?

Sweet. I'll keep my eye out for your posts. Me and a buddy go up there every few weekends. He has an '04 TJ LA 6" on 35's arb's f/r and I have an '06 LJ on 35's. We shouldn't hold you back too much.

I don't think you will hold anyone back at all. Sounds pretty capable to me.

Look forward to it

Hey guys. I just upgraded to a JKU and have been looking for some guys to go explore Walker Valley a little. Reading reviews it seemed like the JKU's would be too big for the trails there. Seeing those pics makes me want to go out there but it would be best to have someone experienced with the area to go with. Let me know when you guys plan another trip.

Welcome to JKU. Walker is no problem in a 4 door; as long as you know how to wheel it and where your corners are. It is an unforgiving area though, when you get it wrong.

That's a very accurate statement regardless of how many doors! Just ask my front fenders when you see them on the side of the trail there.
