Yeah, I just need to finish up installing my spare tire carrier, but I can do that in the cold and under the lighted carport tomorrow evening, I really want to go. I'm also expecting my RAM mount for my laptop to come tomorrow, so I'll hook that up and have my laptop w/GPS capabilities.

Where do you plan on going? This will be my first wheeling since arriving to Washington in July.

We are going to just past Elbe on hwy 7. I haven't got word from the group we're tailing yet for time and meeting place. If I don't here from him by tomorrow, we'll wing it and press on. I'll let you know. Be prepared for snow from your house and back!

I'd go on a snow run too, but my heep is still in the shop getting at least $3k worth of upgrades....

HOLY CRAP.... i could almost buy a spare DRZ400 with that amount of coin.

guess I will go to the bike show instead.

Be safe out there and don't eat any yellow snow............

that's why i don't like tailing along with groups from other clubs or forums,. because they always seem to have their own agenda and don't share it except amongst themselves... besides, LET"S Be ORIGINAL and come up with our own plan instead of relying and someone else to make the plan for us....

Good morning all,
If you go past Elbe on 706 to NFD 307 road. There is a space for folks that will be trailering their rigs.....you can go up to the rec area fairly easy. We did this last year and my daughter wanted to learn to drive in snow...so I showed her how to chain up her stock grand cherokee and at the time I did not have my jeep....so I followed her in my dodge all chained up....we had a blast. It took us awhile to get to rec area due to folks thinking that stock 4 wheel drive vehicles can go anywhere with plain street tires. But it was all fun....I would suggest we go there....when and if you can get to the top the view is post card quality...just a suggestion.

Sorry, it's Hwy 20. North Cascades Hwy. Ok, if we want to go our own way, we'll plan on that.
Jb, it's a Xmas tree run, you didn't mention if there's trees to get up there.

Will I need to go buy tire chains before I head out there? Back home in Michigan we get plenty of snow but chains are illegal, I've never used 'em before.

There's a Schucks and Wal-Mart near Hwy 7 and 224th if we need to get some. I don't think we'll need to meet too early, so how about 10am at Wal-Mart on Hwy 7 in Spanaway tomorrow?
I have a set for 235's also unused for sale.LOL
