WA Xmas tree run?
Does anyone do a tree run up in the woods? If so, when and where?
If not, does anyone want to go on one next weekend? Preferably south of I-90.

I've never done a Christmas tree run, but I assume that it involves coming home with a Christmas tree. I have a question though, how do you get a tree on a Jeep? I have no intention of getting a tree, but I'll go for the fun.

I might be interested in going. I have a soft top so I don't know how I would get the tree back home. I'd just go to take my new Jeep out.

It looks like everyone has the saem intention as me...if i move decide that i am moving in by x-mas than i will get a tree, other wise just drive

I have a softtop also, I was thinking of just tying in down on top, would make a good pic! I might have a few friends coming in their Jeeps too. I'm deciding if I need chains, could also bring my trailer and we could throw trees on it, but I like seeing a bunch of Jeeps with trees on top! Now we just need someone to show us where to get them. I'm not sure if Saturday or Sunday(prob saturday) cause I'm riding the streetbike to the Motorcycle show which ever day is nice outside(both are supposed to be).

What motorcycle show is this? I just got my first bike in July, 96 Suzuki Savage, and I haven't done anything with any groups.

there is a place that everyone went last year .........go past elbe....toward the park and there is a forest service road off to the left.......last year only a handful of jeeps made it to the top

There's an idea, thanks

where would i go for this again? any places near salem?

WKTrailRunner 11-26-2007 05:20 PM

A guy at work went Friday and got his. Pay your $10 at the Ranger station in Enumclaw(by Macdonalds), drive up to 174/175(cut your tree on 175) and drive until you see your tree. Probably not as fun a run as Elbe.

ok so im in but i have a soft top as well so i think ill leave the tree behind. :(
