Yj WA smog laws?

Anybody know if there is an expiration of the sniff test in WA State?
I want to add a V8 to my '92 YJ someday, but keep it "legal".
Thanks!

Only certain counties test for emissions. Not sure if yours is one of them.

After your rig is over 25 years old, you don't need to do it anymore.

Yj

Only 25 years? That means only 8 more years!
Plenty of time to sweet talk the wife!
I live in Clark county.

Yeah, last I heard all cars are "classic" and exempt from testing at the 25 year mark. As far as which counties test, well I know Pierce and King for sure, although certain more rural areas within those counties are exempt from the testing. I used to get a PO Box out in the sticks, or register with a friend's address when I had healthy built cars that I knew wouldn't pass. Anyhow, typically any area with large cities (Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia) and it's suburbs will have manditory testing.

Clark County has strict smog laws (we have vancouver). I would wait for it to be 25 years old in my opinion. lol
