Tahuya is a cake walk! You should have no problems with your rig. There are "Go-Arounds" for anything you don't feel comfortable trying. Took my XJ in stock form with not so good street tires up there a few years ago and it did very well. Now it's lifted and hope to head out there again soon.

Thank you! Sounds like the perfect first place to take my rig out. Want to disconnect my sway bars and take things slow. From what I can tell its going to be a total different experience from wheeling a pick up.

Hello from Auburn, WA. Name is Roy and my Jeep is a '90 XJ just lifted a couple months ago with a RE 3.5" Super Flex SA. Right now it's open-open and plan to do axles before lockers. Lots to do, so little time to do it. Hope to hit the trails with ya all sometime soon. I'm also a ham and while in the area monitor the Mike and Key ARC on 146.820 My call sign is N7AVN. My other Jeep is a '93 ZJ.

Yes, different! But way better! It's a Jeep thing! Your Jeep will go places and do things your pickup could only dream of doing. It truely is a way of life. You are going to have more fun than anyone should have a right to have. That's not really a bad thing either.

GOAT, I wish I had seen this sooner, I woulda headed out to Tahuya with you.

I'll be moving back to Montana in the next 1-1.5 months, so I'll need to go enjoy a little of what WA has to offer before I leave. I'll probably be heading out somewhere soon with my dad, I'll post up on here when I get some dates figured out. My dad just got a 2013 rubicon, and we've been debating who's Jeep will get stuck the furthest on the trail.

Tahuya was a blast! A few problems on the trail, but all jeeps made out alive.

Also, there was a group out there, two red wranglers, you guys saved us twice. If youre on here, just wanted to thank you again!
