I'm back sort of. Life's been kind of messed up this past year.

Hey guys... don't know how I haven't seen this thread yet (guess I didn't look hard enough). I've had a 93 ZJ for a little over 3 years and just picked up a 06 WK about a month and a half ago. My roommate's got an 08 JK. We are in Kirkland. I spent most of my Jeep years in the Ellensburg area so things seem pretty sparse over on this side of the mountains (for heading offroad), but from what I read there are at least a few places to go! Hope to get my lift on soon so I can go exploring again!

I just moved to WA 3 weeks ago. I'll be living in Issaquah starting next week. I'm looking for runs to go on with other people so I can learn the trails in this area. Send me a PM if you are headed out and don't mind the company. I have a well-built XJ on 33's, thinking about rebuilding for 37's next winter.

Mandatory Jeep shot:

Port Orchard here... been here a few years (moved up from Chico, CA) and I've enjoyed building my CJ and TJ so much I've barely taken them out wheeling. Hopefully changing that this summer. If anyone's local and needs a quick weld fix or something I'm usually game to help for beer if I'm not too busy.

Federal way. I have had a 4x4s since 91 and mostly do mild to moderate wheeling, with the Rubicon (in my 81 toy on 32's) being about the toughest stuff I enjoy. I have wanted a jeep since I was 12 but it was never the right choice for my needs. well I finally got one end of last summer. An '06 TJ. Its a mild build with open diffs ( saving for gears, lockers and axle upgrades ) I am looking foward to hitting evans creek after it thaws and dries a bit and see what the jeep and I can do together. I only have one buddy who wheels, so I will be watching for group rides that are open to jeep newbies.

We are gonna do the Reiter trial run this Sunday if your interested. It's not much of a run (only 900 ft.) but some of us might do Tonga afterwards. PM me for details.
