Here's some easy stuff, more of a back country tour than anything else.... go up the road towards mission ridge, then turn off on the gravel road to beehive reservoir... keep going up to the top, then just keep going on the main road towards Haney Meadows.... if you keep going you can end up at the top of blewett pass.

possibly you can make a loop somehow (I think) and go up the number 9 canyon and back down by beehive (or vice versa). don't quote me as far as being able to actually make a loop because I haven't been over there in 5 years or so.

get some USFS maps from the ranger station.

From up top, you can also take some roads end up down in Liberty.

Had a good run over Naches and back yesterday (11/10/07).

Temps dropped later in the day and hovered around freezing in the afternoon.

Had Dinner at Jack's, then did Naches trail back in the dark. pics are coming

They have been pretty nice so far. I've played around with them a few times at Tahuya, they do great in the mud and clean out well and they grip pretty well on wet and muddy tree roots, but Tahuya doesnt have tree roots to the extent of Evans Creek so i dunno... Im also curious to see how they do on rock slab once wet and muddy, they are siped so who knows. The sidewall are tuff as nails so hopefully at least around here i wont have to worry about slicing a tire. I actually ended up slicing two at Walker Valley. Im ready to go back and prove myself...

The only real problem i have now is with rubbing. Im thinking about getting a 1"BL and seeing if i can grabe a 1"MML as well to help keep alignment. I dont have a sawzall or an angle-grinder. I was thinking i might just trim them so if i buy one it'll be about the same price.

Not really new here, but first time I've been back on since I first bought my Jeep! Been a busy summer/fall for me
I've had my 97 TJ about 6 months now, so far I've rebuilt the clutch and put a 2" lift, new wheels and tires, flares, stereo and a few other doo dads....but I'm hooked for good! LOVE my Jeep! :P

The Naches last Wednesday was slick as all get out --- just enough snow to make it tough --- downed trees too --- must have backed up a good half a mile in the course of the day.

Some idiots ran the open part of the Naches, Milk Lk, Tri-pod Flats trails today and I have pics to prove it.
Some people ran the Govt. Meadows section illegally. We went around that section by road, it wasn't fun slippin and slidin all the way.
I tried to go down the 2nd finger off Manashtash and almost rolled it, but turned into it and wound up taking the 1st finger.
The pics in the album show alot of stucks or slides. We both had to pull each other twice thru obstacles. I ended up with a ding in the tub and a crease on the door and minus my spare. Dewey wound up using my spare after he wacked a boulder on the road and wasting his tire and rim.
I had to get pulled where he's at now

Here also after he slicked up the trail

I wacked my door and tub on that fell in the background

He's spinning wheels again

OOPS, slid off sideways in the muck

Hi mom

Tri-pod Flats trail, hope we make it back up

1st time cabin's been unoccupeid all season, embers still smoking

I was at NTC for the entire month of October, but I'm alive and the TJ is back up and running.
