Tahuya around New Years?

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE

Based on input from here and elsewhere. The "official" plan will be

January 2nd 2010
Meet at the Belfair, WA Safeway off Hwy 3 at 9AM.

I'm going through off road withdrawals right now and need to get out on the trail again. Money is a bit tight so I haven't been able to go far, but pay day comes up at the end of the month and Tahuya is close.

I'm available the 29th or 30th, or after New Years on the 2nd or 3rd.

If anyone is interested let me know. If not, I'm probably going to go anyhow, I imagine someone will be there running the trails.

McKBrew: I'm yer HuckleBerry. Either weekend will probably work for me, just let me know!

As a matter of fact, I was out at Tahuya today. I had reason to be in Silverdale and for some reason, on my way back to Tacoma, my steering wheel just got a mind of it's own and took me to Tahuya...

I only saw one group of dirt bikers, not another 4x4 to be seen. Spent a couple of hours by myself and had a blast! Seems I get those withdrawels, too...I'll keep checking this thread.

The 2nd would be good for me. I've been itching to get out again myself.

I'm not going to be able to get something that works for everyone, but the 2nd sounds like a good bet for most.

Let's plan on the 2nd, meet-up place and time to be hashed out in the next few days.

That should give me time to get my lift kit installed too. Not that I need it for Tahuya, but I'd like to wheel with it on.

I think we will go with that for right now. Sounds like a plan. I've only been out to Tahuya once, so I probably need to follow someone anyhow. I at least know where the Safeway is.

If everyone could PM me if you are coming, that would be cool. It would allow me to keep track of who is supposed to be there. I'll provide my cell phone number via PM as well.

Also need someone to volunteer to be the trail boss, I don't feel I have the requisite experience for that yet.
