Talking SW Wash/NW Or motorsports club looking for new members

I am a member of a motorsports club called Pistonswild Motorsports. We are a motorsports club with around 11 member families at this point. Being a motorsports club we have members with everything from dirtbikes, quads, sandrails, 4x4 trail rigs, 4x4 offroad race rigs and snowmobiles. So basically if it has a motor we are looking for you.

Our club has been trying to get "legal" 4x4 trails opened up in the Yacolt Burn area of SW Washington over the past 2+ years. The area is north of Camas and SE of Battleground. We have over 2750 volunteer hours so far in this project. We are close to getting this "inked" as the plan has been signed off by the Pacific Cascade Region Manager's and is now in Olympia for the Executive branch to sign off on. Washington Dept. of Natural resources (DNR) has hired two consultants to help in implementation of this process. One consultant is for facilities (campgrounds and staging areas ect). The other is a well known trail builder and advisor.

This has been our major project over the past 2 + years if anyone is interested in learning more about this project and the things this club does please check us out at WWW.Pistonswild.com. There is a free forum there with all the info about this project and other things we are up to. The forum has an events calendar as well.

We are always looking for more hands to help out. We are a very motivated group and have fun at whatever we are doing.

Thank you for reading this long post.

That would be awesome if those areas opened up. My schedule is beyond crazy at the moment, but I like what you're doing and am interested in possibly getting involved on some level. Our company owns the **** Hannah group of dealerships and Pro Caliber Motorsports so drop me a PM when you have an event or are going up for a clean up or whatever. I'll forward the info along to my contacts and see if we can get you some more help.

Bricktop2,

Thank you for you interest in our project. We can use all the help we can get. We have created a database with our all volunteers email addresses so that when we have a clean-up or work party coming up we notify them via email with dates, times ect. Hint, hint, if you can pm me your email address I will make sure you are put into the database and are notified.

If you can go register for our free forum (www.pistonswild.com) that is the best way to stay in the loop with what is going on in the Yacolt Burn. Everything is posted there as we get news ect from our partners at DNR. There is also write-ups on work parties and clean-ups posted there with pics.

The forum also has current and upcoming club events ect so if your schedule slows down a bit and would like to join us when you have some free time. We would be more then happy to have you. Awesome JK by the way.

Thank you for your interest,

Lance Schiedler
