Just chill man... I'm free and raring to go somewhere May 26th. We could hit Tahuya for 7 miles of trails or hit Durr Road for more of an overland/expedition trip. If the green-dots will let us (indicating the roads are open) there are some great side trips that turns 16 miles of more-or-less straight shot into 25, 30, 40...all depends on how far we want to go and what is open for us to drive on.

I'm always down for a run out to Tahuya. It's not too far for me. My weekend is Thursday and Friday though

May 27th would work best for me as well. It appears that I am in parades all Saturdays this month. I am hoping that this every Saturday thing is just this month. Driving a float at 3 mph is not nearly as much fun as off-roading. ANY other day of the week works for me though. WA KK, Thursdays or Fridays work for me. KRNKIMCHI, I am up for anytime before June or July. I am probably going to do some camping at the end of May, but I could certainly take a day trip to wherever. I will be on the Olympic Peninsula (Quinalt area). There are actually some nice easy to mid difficulty old logging roads around the area.

just realized that may 26 is memorial day , so no work on monday. apparently my wife made plans for saturday around 4pm, so technically i would be able to go in the morning, but would be constrained on time. warbi, let me know when you will be in the olympic peninsula and i'll drive down, would be down for some logging roads

Actually, Memorial Day is Mon the 28th. I'm free May 27. All we need to decide is the "where".

Aaron (with the Disco) went out around Highway 2 and found impassable snow levels at 1900ft. We ran Durr last Feb and it was mostly open although a little ice here and there. I think it will be fine.

Google maps "Old Durr Road, Ellensburg, WA"

Scott you're welcome to join us May 27th for some exploring. It's mostly just fun driving and great views, not really trails to speak of.
