Does spokane get thunderstorms a lot?
Right now we have a very high fire danger due to the lack of rain and dry surface conditions.
This morning, Coeur d'Alene had a thunderstorm; I got a brief very heavy rainfall around 7:15 AM. That's about all we've seen for a week, but there's a cold front coming through tonight and we expect temps to drop down to below average - which is low 80s right now, but by the weekend should be back into the 80s.
I've been in areas of the US where thunderstorms were more prevelant in some seasons than what I see here in Spokane.
