Does anyone on here ever wheel anymore? Mitch I haven't seen your jeep in forever. Anyone want to hit 7 mile for a few hours tomorrow?

I know man... I've got the itch so flippin bad myself, but I'm pinchin pennies. I've dumped over $2K on my attorney fighting for custody of my kids. I can barely afford eggs right now. And I still have to replace my master cylinder. I'm making a point to head out there a couple times the week after xmas with or without brakes.

No one missed much. It's so damn slushy out there that even the simplest challenges were near impossible. It was hard enough just getting out of the park when we were done. Good to know I still have full flex with 35"s on only 3 5/8ths lift though.

Paul, I would hang out on New Year's Day, but I'll be on the west side, hopefully wheeling Tahuya.

I saw an add on Craigslist today for a Jeep meet and greet in Spokane. I emailed the guy and he said he's trying to get a bunch of jeepers together on the 17th of Dec 6pm at the Ram Inn on division. Just thought I would post it on here incase anyone was interested.

Finally somone on here who actually wheels more than once a year. Yes Spokalu and I try and go some where just about every weekend. It usually ends up just being the 2 of us. When are you headed out next?

Some of use have a life besides wheeling!
Sometimes I'm not actually wheeling, but still doing wheeling-related work.
Such as studying the WA State legislatures attempts to steal our NOVA funds.
And now there is word that the WA State Parks Board wants to permanently close 7 Mile, but still keep our NOVA funds!

I'm also creating a single web page listing all the wheeling places in WA State.

Besides just wheeling, what else are you doing to further the sport?
Sometimes you have to work to enjoy our sport or to continue to enjoy our sport!

Our sport is constantly under attack from those who would prefer us to not have access to public lands! Yet we do pay (through our taxes) to use these lands!

Paul, both Talon and myself work and have plenty of a life left to make time to wheel as well as do other non wheel related activities. And from what I have seen reading through the legislation has produced nothing. The money will come or go regardless of your or anyone else reading and writing. have you not learned it is not about what the tax payer wants but what the politicians want. You are the one wasting your time and you're retired so you should be able to wheel far more than the cabin fever run.

You are so out of touch with what's going on in the State legislature. All I'm going to say is don't work to keep our lands open and money available for off-highway projects and when everything is closed up, you can sell your 4x4 due to no places to ride and do even less wheeling that what I'm actually doing now!

And I do more than Cabin Fever!

Discussing this topic here is just like discussing open lands with conservations - they never see to real whole picture!
