Turns out whomever loaned me their Hi-Lift Jack last year when one of my knuckles fell off the ball joint never picked it up at my Dad's. I just saw it there and and felt really bad! I am horrible with names -REALLY horrible! I think I even have your number in my phone somewhere along with the other couple hundred contacts, so please PM me so I can get it back to you. I thought you were going to stop by there and so I never gave it another thought. Sorry man.

If anyone knows something about this, please let him know. I don't want this on my conscious.

Oh and is there a meet soon? I want to show off my TNT Long arms! Haha

EDIT: Youwish I'll be there! -If a number of people plan to show up.

Not a "Jeep Meet 'n Greet" outing, but if you want to show off your LA come out to 7 Mile on Saturday, Sep 24 at 10 AM in the parking lot. I've got two fellow Jeepers who want to explore 7 Mile. One has never been out there (newbie to the area); the other wants to see how his XJ works as pretty much stock (except for the lift kit).

REMEMBER: To be on state park lands, you must have the WA Discover Pass. You can purchase either the $10 daily pass or $30 yearly pass at 7 Mile.

I've got two others coming: (1) One has a 2007 4-door JK; never been out to 7 Mile; arrived in the area July 1st and getting anxious to check out wheeling in the area. (2) Other one has a 2001(?) XJ that is basically stock except for a 3-1/2"(?) lift.

Unfortunately neither will probably be able to do much hill climbing in the big valley as they have street (M+S) tires, but they'll still enjoy the rest of the park.

How good are you at guiding? Id like to drive across the rock garden - if for no other reason to show off , but need someone who's exceptionally good at guiding as I can't see where my tires are when I'm driving.

Unless we get some rain/moisture before then, I'm not so sure I'm going to be able to climb some of those long hills as generally when it's dry, the dirt turns to silt.

Do invite any others that you come across.

Paulp- I'm not talking about 7mile. I was talking about those rice burners on division. Its pretty close to your house if you want to show up. It's going to be later on Saturday the 17th. Around 9:30 pm. Let me know if you want to come. It's kinda like a Meet and Greet but no food.

If you do show up (along with some others) we can all go out and get a drink if everyone wants to.

Might not be a bad idea but I'll be in Cle Elum on Saturday. Right now not sure what time I'll be getting back.

Unfortunately the only thing that would change would be the time I arrive back here in Spokane. And considering I'm organizing the event in Cle Elum, by the time I get back, I'll probably want to rest.

One thing that would really be cool would be to park there and then after we get their attention, do some tire humping! I'm sure none of them have seen that. And since I did my first successful tire hump at the Sprint Boat races on Aug 27th, I feel somwewhat more comfortable doing it! Either couldn't before due to my front bumper being too wide or once I replaced my front bumper, never had an opportunity!

That would be truely amazing! I'd like to see them try that! Stupid little cars... Well when you do come back to town, we will have to do it a different weekend! I've never done it, never had the confidence to. In me or my Jeep. I don't want to break it! But it would be amazing to say the least!

Well, unless you have plenty of clearance one of your front tires, it's pretty much impossible to accomplish. I couldn't do it with mine because my front bumper extended all the way across my front tires to their outside edge. Once I got my shortended "center" bumper, it no longer extended in front of my tires so I could do it. I, like you, was always afraid it'd rip off one of my front fender flares so never did it. However, at the Sprint Boat races (in St. John) we'd always do it after the races were over. Last Aug was the first time I had the opportunity to try it, but my friend who rode along just got in the Rubicon and did it - without my knowledge - at least until I saw it on top of another Jeep's tires! I wasn't too worried as I knew if he broke anything, he'd fix it!

So this Aug, I was egged on by the other guys there and finally did it - myy first time. Wasn't all that bad! Check it out:

I'd like to hit up one of these 7-mile outings with you guys sometime. (Never been)
May be hard this month due to bouncing between and Moses Lake for a work related stuff. But I'm sure I can make something work...dying to offroad this puppy.

We went out on the 24th, but it was very dusty! I figured by mid-September we'd have some rain, but nope! Two of the other three that came out had a great time. One had never been out there before; not sure about the others.

Not a problem. I'm going to be gone the last half of this month, but will be doing another in November. By then I know we'll have had some rain to help keep the dust down.

What type of tires do you have. If the photo on your profile is the 4-door, looks like you have some after-market tires that should do fine. Two of the three that came out in Sept had stock M+S tires. While they both did okay, a more aggressive tire would have helped.

Send me an e-mail so I can add you to my 4x4 e-mail list and when I get back in early Nov, I'll hit you up to set up a date.

Sounds good, Running 33" mountaincats with a pretty agressive tread pattern, should be ok I think so long as I don't go crazy.

The biggest problem at 7 Mile is most of the trails are a combination of dirt/sand so a somewhat aggressive tread helps a lot. When it's dry most of the sand is like silt; hard to get any type of traction - even in my Rubicon with lockers front and rear! If the surface is wet, then the problem becomes how well your tires self-clean the tread.

I let the other guys drive my Rubicon to see the difference. They were amazed with the tire grip. I think they both went up hills without me engaging the lockers just so they could see the improvement with tires using a bit more aggressive tread.
