Snow Run

Saturday the 14th, heading up to play in the snow on the forest service roads outside of Greenwater. mostly should just be on and around the 70 road.

last year i was the only jeep, they'll be a bunch of lifted super duties and other lifted trucks.

heres a pic from last year


oh yea its gonna be another night run too

well i might see you up there. our jeep club is doing their annual night run over the naches trail to shoestring and back. we will be leaving forest road 70 at 8pm. there is about 15 rigs usualy with us. i will be in the only big green cherokee

were meeting at the safeway in enumscratch like at 8 or 9pm,

its kind of an eff around trip, a lot of these guys never really wheel there trucks so the only things they can do are open snow or mud, no trails like us jeep guys. last year we went on the first night that it dumped snow all over the sound, so it was basically a blizzard up on the 70 road, we had a pallet bonfire, it was a good time.

if i have my springs by then i just might be able to do this, how far from everett is this?

depending on traffic, around two hours from everett to enumclaw. then its another half hour or so from enumclaw up to the forest service roads.

i need to stop making wheeling plans during hunting season though. im thinking i might go hunting instead, ill post back here when i make my decision later tonight.

This is the Hyak/Gold Creek exit past Snoqualmie pass these pics are from yesterday does that road look like this? I like this place becasue the trail starts right off I90 so its 70mph on the way there and on the forest service road there are lots of open spots you can play in like the photo above

I am trying to get some people to go there friday night but I am open to join you guys or if you want to swich things up we could go here with us on friday at about the same time

wahooo another washington zj, nice rig. how do you like that lift? im looking to go 3.5'' or 4.5'' and 33'' KM2s as well.

umm im gonna say since thats the hyak side of snoqualmie, that theres more snow there then this side up at greenwater.

im actually going deer hunting, so i cant make this trip. im sure i can convince the guys that are going to do another trip a few weeks from now. as far as i know no jeeps are gonna be this trip now that i bailed. so scratch the invite i threw out earlier. my bad ill be more serious about wheeling after hunting season.

i know there are a lot of idiots, those are mostly kids going up to party and be dumb. we actually did have it in a spot out of the way where i didn't think people would drive or park near for that reason.

I went up there yesterday too. I only saw a chevy blazer there and a truck that had skimobiles on it. How far up the fs road did you go?

I went there on the 10th. I am guessing since you posted this today that your yesterday is the 11th. A bunch of friends of mine are going up tomorrow night around 8pm if you want to join.
