Tahuya in Belfair is the best place to go for you. Very close and most is easy in stock rigs. Always go with a group and never by yourself.

In poulsbo

Im just north of you and Tahuya is only 30 minutes from me. If you want, shoot me a P.M. on weekends that you want to go out there. I've got a TJ and my wife has a YJ and we know the trails of Tahuya pretty well.

i live in tacoma, go to tahuya, rock candy/straddiline weekly. Stock vehicle should do fine at either spot, just get some front sway bar disconnects and you'll be golden.

straddiline is a ORV/dirtbike track. Up in the hills there are many 4x4 trails that also attach into rock candy. I take I-5 south to olympia, transfer onto hwy101 then transfer to hwy8. Go like 6-8miles and it's on the left hand side of hwy8. Entrance to rock candy isn't marked well, straddiline you can't miss tho.

I go wheeling 1-2 times a week. If I'm off Sunday I go to either evans creek, elbe hills, or when it's open naches. During the week after work I go to either straddiline/rock candy or to Ricky J's. Straddiline is clay style dirt, smaller short trail areas. It's all gravel logging roads, they have small trails off to the sides-most are easy. Small hill climbs without the rocky terrain. Ricky J's is a bar off Canon Rd and 176th in Puyallup. There's wheeling behind it, upper section has LOTS of mud and water. The lower section has multiple hill climbs along with some trenches. Ricky J's is easy to medium.
