Crud I just found this. I'd like to go but I think it'll be tough to get the permit in time. Where can I get a permit tomorrow morning?

Hope so! Can anyone give me an address of a place in the Enumclaw area where I can get the permit?

Or a link to a website where I can find a place to get a permit?

EDIT: I'm dumb. I just re-read the original post.

I betting everyone will be heading there after we leave Safeway the 2nd time, to get the permit.

Meet up #1: Safeway at 8:15-8:30, then go to eat GOOD FOOD....
Eat,

Meet up #2: come back to Safeway around 10am-ish, regroup, gather up with those that didn't eat, then leave again

By Keith Eldridge MT. BAKER-SNOQUALMIE NATIONAL FOREST ....
But it takes a lot of planning and a $10 tree permit from the Forest Service office. The office in Enumclaw will see 1,500 people come through this weekend.

Odd that they told him it's $10
...website says it's $5.00, see the link in 1st msg in this thread... which reads:

Quote:
CHRISTMAS TREE PERMITS:

Christmas tree permits are on sale for $5 each at all ranger district offices, the Okanogan Valley Office, and at the forest headquarters office in Wenatchee. The $5 permit allows a family to cut a tree (maximum height 15 feet) or dig a live transplant tree. Each permit is for one Christmas tree...

pretty amazing sight to see, isn't it... LOL.

at the end of that trail I actually gunned it through a big water hole!!

in the pic below, I had to make about 4 attempts to get through that spot, even locked front and rear, but everyone else motored right though it piece of cake. ?!?!?

anyway, we had fun.... we ended up going to Evans Creek after the Tree cutting run up FR70, 7010.
