Off-roading the Olympic Peninsula?

1 Attachment(s)
Alright I will admit that I do not own a Jeep, Nor do I own a 4x4 Truck(start the ribbing). But yet I still love to go off-roading, I used to do it with friends. Now, I own a 97' Chevy Astro AWD, with a 5" lift kit and am soon to install 32x10.50 All-Terrain Tires(I have LT215/75r15 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO's right now). Eventually I will be installing a Two-Speed Transfer case out of an S-10 in there.

Unfortunately there is not much info on the forum where I go about off-roading in washington state, but me and a few of my friends all have lifted Astro's and are looking for a good places to go on the Olympic Peninsula, so any information that you guys may have about good trails over there would be good.

Thank you.

Please don't chastise me for not having a Jeep, I tread lightly, don't drink and drive, be courteous to nature, and even clean up trash when I am on trails and haul it away in my van.

Figured I would attach a recent pic of my van.

The only place on the Oly peninsula is Sadie creek its pretty decent but your wheelbase might be a bit long for the vehicle filter and body damage is likely.
Here is a link to check out.

If you're just looking to get off the roads, there are miles and miles of logging roads in all manner of condition. Some are very brushy, others have been cut to direct water flow (to preserve the road for later) that can challenge your van.

Just head out towards any hiking trailhead and explore the roads along the way. Some dead end and some seem to go for miles.
