Naches run

We will be running the Naches trail starting on Friday the 11th. Meeting at the McDonald's next to the Safeway in Enumclaw at 8:00 pm. We will camp at govt meadows or the little Naches. Saturday we will run up to Funny Rocks and back over the Naches or 70 road on Sunday. PM me here if interested in going.
Rick

We might see you on the trail.

Our plan was to hit Manastash for a few days (Oct 11, Fri - Mon) but I'm wondering if the trails are open with the government shutdown in effect. Also, after the forest fire on Manastash ridge earlier this summer are the trails open again?

The ridge trail and the trails that drop into the shoestring area are closed. You can go to funny rocks, up Kaner to lily pond. Basically all trails in the shoestring lake are a closed, the tripod trails are closed, but the cabin did not burn. Wells meadow is open and the divide trail are open but that is about it.
