A couple of us are heading out there to see what trouble we can get into. If you want to go, post up. Time TBD

We're avoiding Elbe this weekend. Up to 125 rigs on the trails will equal hours waiting to go nowhere
Raven.....we're going in at FR 25 to FR 26 and see if we can get to Miners Camp and explore some roads that turn into trails that I found last month. Then just check places out. I've been riding dirtbikes on the trails there for 15 years, so would like to explore the roads some. Graham Safeway 8ish, Elbe 9ish, should pass thru Randle at 10amish. Ch 5

This run wound up becoming a log crawl. We had 3 Jeeps show for the run, 1 JK, 1 TJ, 1 XJ. We spent 6 hours logging out about 10 miles of road. My body is shot! Raven turned back a mile from the end as he couldn't press thru the snow with bald tires. Rick and I hiked another 1/4 mile further up the road after the snow depth reached 1.5 feet with no traction. The 2 of us then drove back down to a spur road and slithered up a narrow trail to where we couldn't get any further and took some cool pics which I hope he posts. We aired up at the Tower Rock Texaco which has been closed down for 20 years, but the phone still works in the phone booth! We got back to my house at 930pm. Fun day.

damn those are some nice pics kinda sad i missed out on that texaco store woulda been fun to wander around it. to be fair the snow was like a foot deep and my diffs were dragging slowing me down, bald tires didnt help much either. was a fun time tho i liked the miles of snow slithering sliding stopping random to take pictures. for the guys that didnt go it was a lot of work but also a lot of fun. id wheel with those guys again anytime

oh ya chainsaws next time

i remembered i had an old remington pos a friend gave me. been rebuilding it on and off all afternoon. got it to fire off with a bit of starting fluid. then realized it was 10:15 and far to late to be running it. mixing 2 stroke at a few ounces at a time is umm challenging.
