oh then welcome home
well theres not too much to do over there compared to seattle. i'd actually consider moving back to cle elum if there were any jobs over there. i'd like to be driving around in the mountains and hanging out at lake cle elum all summer. over here i just like going to the bars but since the gf is only 19 i can't even do that.

Manashtash Ridge and other decent wheeling would be right outside your front door.

That'd be awesome if you moved to E-burg Caribou, that way when I stop in and visit friends at Central I can go wheeling with an awesome WJ. (assuming you changed your mind and you're keeping it)

Yeah, looks like about 90% chance we're moving here by late summer. Be great, I'll be closer to Chelan, Vantage, and Moses Lake. Going to have to buy a new boat this summer .

Walnut, right now my mom has over 200 acres here. We can camp on the property, and I'll bring the kegorator for the bed of the Super Duty. Good times are a guarantee.

Not just Manastash which has a 115 sq mile offroading area but also Liberty/Table Mountain and the area north of Lake Cle Elum / Salmon La Sac (there are a few trails up there, more mild stuff).

And Rimrock is maybe 1.5 hrs away.

It's a nice place to be located for wheel'n opportunities.

Wait, are you in that area right now? I'll be stopping by to visit my buddy at Central like the 14th-16th ish. I'll definitely be doing some exploring of Manashtash, well however much of it I can get to this time of the year.

Oh yeah Caribou, take a look at the "pictures" and "trip reports" link in lupinsea's sig. Those are very nice links. In fact, I might even say they're great.

Yeah, I'm here, but headed back by this weekend. Plus I'm not driving the Jeep, I drove the PSD up.

uh-oh. I hope that snow can hold back for a while. I need to be able to get back home next week, I'd hate to be held up by closed passes.

I just moved back from Ellensburg, I was there for college. Yeah, it is a small town, but after a little while I fell in love with the place. People are super nice, NO TRAFFIC, nad there is good wheeling there as well.

If you want a good place to eat, go to the Tav. It is a Bar & Grill that has amazing burgers and good beer on tap. For breakfast, go to the Yellow Church Cafe- GREAT! The soup bowl is another nice place.

There is good wheeling there on the Manashtash ridge. Get in with the locals there, there are a few other places that I can not remember the names of, but they are on the back side of town.

If you want Jeep parts, like tune up stuff and such; go to Autozone, ask for Rob. Rob is the store manager, tell him that Dean sent you and he will hook you up. ( I used to work there)

If you prefer Napa, ask for Matt. Tell Matt that Dean, who used to work at Autozone, sent you... He will also hook you up.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, JUST ASK!
I was there for 4 years and know a lot of people.
