Feb 22nd run

We will be heading up to Ruby creek saturday the 22nd. It will be an overnight run, camping out in the snow. Anyone who wants to come for the day is welcome, Ruby creek is usually in and out depending on snow levels.
We will meet at the Cottage inn in Cle Elum at 9am for breakfast. Have attachment points and preferably a cb.

I may be interested in this. I've never heard of Ruby Creek and am a bit unfamiliar with the area. From Cle Elum, will you head north or south. What kind of wheeling is it? Forest roads, trails etc? Are you going to post any soft requirements other than tow points? I'm going to see what I can find online but post a map, or a link to one, would be nice. Thanks.

Ruby creek is just a road, not worth doing unless snowy. It is north of Cle Elin on hey 97, north of Blewett pass.

We are still going even with all the new snow but we have a couple of back up roads also.

Wasn't as much snow as we thought there would be but still plenty for fun.

Brent leading the way. The snow under the crust was sugar snow so it was blast ahead and then back up and repeat.

Getting down to 5psi.

Steve leading in the Samari.

Ken playing in the road.

snow wheel.

camp.

Get that fire going.

About 2' of snow, good time.

It snowed about 2" overnight but was not as cold as last year.
The group.

Already planning for the next one.
