Hey no prob. You did miss a good time though lol. Here's a few more pics. Pics don't do any justice though. The trails were crazy. I'm always surprised by what my jeep can do.

Ya missed a good day but there will be more runs down the road.

I had a great time on the run and thanks to mavrick2107 and clintrivera for coming out, it was great meeting you. And thank you guys in particular for letting Keka and his friend rid in your rigs. I'm glad they got a chance to see what the Jeep trails are like and didn't bail out after their flat tire.

Here's a write-up I posted in the Trip Reports subforum with lots of pix.

And few of the photos below. There are a bunch more pix in the trip report, including a link to the photo album with yet more pix.

Looks like you guys had a blast. I LOVE the 197, my favorite trail out there.

I see you guys did the 519, too. That first (519/going up) large, rock out-cropping can be a bit intimidating going up or down it...So can the next little rock rut where that large, rectangular stone re-directs your rig to the edge of the bank, (once again going up) I always pucker up there.

Sorry I missed the run, Jay, would have loved to finally meet & wheel with you, as well as the rest of you guys.

The 197 is my favorite, too.

I know what you mean on the 519 rock outcropping. When we ran it at the end of September the 4-door JK in our group walked right up everything like it wasn't there. I had more difficulty and on the second rock step definitely got pushed out to the edge of the trail. Kept getting hung up on my control arm brackets on the frame as my tire got sucked into the hole at the base of the rock ledge.

I got it but it sounded a little ugly.

A fellow with us on that run was driving a stock TJ on 31" street tires and open diffs. He hugged the inside of the trail (left side heading up hill) and was able to make it right up when he picked the right line. It took a couple tries, though.

Going up the 519 at the 1st large outcropping, I always take the right hand line, same for the 2nd one. And when I did it last, it was ugly, too. I tend to drive slow and attempt to employ finesse, but I looked anything but, the last time...

EDIT; Now that I think of it, I've only gone UP the 519, once. All the other times I went down.
