Best views seattle area
I'm curious from where (that you can get to in a jeep).

I used to know some awesome places with views of rainier in the ravensdale area that you can't get to anymore. (mt. Pitt or something).

Well. . .

From a Jeep Trail
Raven's Roost
Middle of the 311 Trail at Evan's Creek
Above Gallagher Head Lake norht of Cle Elum
Multiple points in Manastash Ridge Area
Multiple points in the Rimrock Area

From Other Vantage Points
Top of the Space Needle
Hwy 410 at Chinook Pass
Auburn / Encumclaw Hwy just outside of Enumclaw
Rainier Vista from Red Square on the UW campus in Seattle

Did you have a specific area in mind?
On the way into Enumclaw from Auburn, just outside of Enumclaw.
Top of "Four Fingers" at Manastash Ridge
Coming down the 642 trail at Rimrock
Climbing up the (I think) Divide Ridge trail at Rimrock
Rimrock . . . where we had lunch, can't remember name of the area

The Evans creek area has a multitude of vistas, not just the few we see all the time. The Cayada creek rd an Surprise lake has some pretty awsome views too.

There are some logging and forest service roads just south of Wilkeson that offer some cool scenery.

Any idea how far you can make it towards Ceder Lake before the snow gets too deep?

The time now is 12:37 PM.
