Woke up at 0800 this morning to find out that my power was out and had been for some time. Waited diligently until 1230 and decided it was time to get out of town. Staying in Army lodging for the night and hoping the power is back on when I go home in the morning. Garbage.

However, only working one day this week more or less makes up for it.

At a friends house. We lost power and it was way too cold to sit around in a dark house all day. It's pretty crazy out there.

Power finally came back on this morning. Made it home about 1100 this morning. Not much damage to speak of. Big fir branch took out a section of fence but other than that nothing, thank God. How is everyone else making out?

Clarks Creek area/Puyallup

We lost a large tree that fell on the neighbors roof. When it fell, the larger branch's kept it from visiting the full weight of the tree, onto the neighbors roof. A chain saw & manual labor solved the problem. Also lost lots of large limbs from many trees on our property. Looks a bit like Armageddon over here right now. Power was out for about 36-40 hours. We had a wood stove, and cooked on it. We got by just fine. Glad it's over though!

I wish we had a wood stove. We definitely made out pretty good compared to other people. One of my soldiers lives on FT Lewis and his neighbor had an oak tree fall through his house. No one was home at the time, but still pretty s***ty.

We got power early saturday. Not much tree damage do to no tree around thankfully. But there was a lot of devastation on the way back in.

I live in Fredrickson off 176th, we were without power from late Thursday evening until late Sunday morning. Made for an interesting weekend to say the least. At least I wasn't at work all of last week.
