Wow. First time I've been. I'll definitely be going next year.

Picked up a set of Dana Spicer 4.10 R&P gears for $75 that were in excellent condition. I "talked" the seller down from $100 simply by hemming and hawing then walking away. He started shouting at me that he'd drop the price to $75. I cam back. New Spicer gear sets are around $260.

And Northridge 4x4 was having a good swap meet pricing on brand new Warn winches. . . M8000's going for $475.

Recommendations for next year:
  • Save up and bring a wad of cash
  • Arrive early (we got there at 9:30am and had no problem with parking)
  • Bring a shopping list
  • Research what you want to buy so you know what you're looking at

Add a Wagon to your recommendations too.

Maybe, depends on what you plan to buy. If it's small stuff you can probably carry it. if it's heavy stuff like axles or engines or transfercases then maybe bring a cart, however I saw lots of kids with wagons for hire at the swap meet. For $2-5 they'll haul your goodies out to your car for you.
