I think they are good tires. I'm running them on my JK. I having had any issues with them. Tell the true any tire sucks on ice during the winter unless your running studs.

And I was some of those 70s jeep pickups you were talking about lol.. but did you see that sweet 49 Willys pick up! I was like lol

It's a Kargo Master roof rack. I like it. It's rated for 500 lbs which is higher than most I've seen. This one is one I modded from TJ my buddy was getting rid of, so I had to shorten it, mod the back mounts and make mounts for the front. The YJ specific one would come with all the right stuff but I got a much better deal on this one. It's pretty heavy and requires at least 2 people to fold it back to remove the hard top, but I rarely take the top off anymore. It's very sturdy and serves it's purpose well.

Whittier here!

Looking to meet some other Jeeps in Anc/Valley/Peninsula.

Knik is great... but would be better with other Jeeps.

Stationed at JBER and I just bought my 97 Wrangler Sport. It has a 2.5" body lift and 33"s, otherwise stock. I'm new to Jeeps, and 4x4s in general, but I'm looking forward to getting it out onto some trails.

Yeah from VA. All by my lonesome.

And trust me it's got some scratches from wheeling and the start of some surface rust on parts of the frame. When I get there I'm buying a DD, getting axles, and tearing it down.

And one from before

And one from when I purchased it a year ago.

No pictures since I'm working from my phone but I just moved to Kodiak from Hampton Roads. Anyone down my way on JF? Seen a few built trucks and a few jeeps on base but was wondering if there were any guys on here to hear from?

I'm Coast Guard. A diesel mechanic currently working with outboards. I was stationed in beautiful Portsmouth but got orders here. Couldn't be happier to get out of such a busy place!

As far as wheeling goes I'm used to the south and our mud so these rocks are new to me but I guess I'll give it a try. If anyone wants to make the ferry ride I'll make sure to set up a proper tour!
