Wj Got orders to Anchorage!!!

What's it like besides cold? Good spots to wheel? Am I going to need to do anything to my jeep to handle the weather? Economy... I'm from Arizona so i'm sure it'll be the complete opposite!

im from seattle but i lived in alaska for two years. your gonna want to get a block heater for the engine and an oil pan heater, those are the main things for the cold to get your rig winterized.

Anchorage is pretty mild even in the winter. Block heater is a maybe. Up in Fairbanks it's a bit different and many places have plug ins for block heaters.

As far as wheeling, I have no idea, haven't lived there in years.
