I have just purchased a 84 cj7 and of coarse it is carburated...Im currently in Iraq but will be returning back to alaska and Im worried about if Im going to be able to keep it running thru this winter... I know there is a couple efi kits out there but I am new to all of this, can someone please help me?
About the only concern that I can think of (aside from water in the fuel supply freezing) would be carburetor icing. But engines with carburetors on them have been used up there for approximately a million years. Yours should work fine also as long as you have a functioning air cleaner hot-air system. Without one, your carb with certainly ice up.
