Hi
I have recently pulled the drivetrain out of my 2001 Grand Cherokee 3.1 TD to have the torque converter rebuilt. I have since put everything back together and she is running beautifully, except I'm having a slight issue with the Transmission Selector Cable. Since I disconnected it before I pulled the transmission out, it appears to have become shorter, because now I can't engage Park by using the Gear Shifter, but I can crawl under the vehicle to manually push the lever (on the gearbox) into park.
Does anyone have any idea what has possibly happened, and if so, how to fix said issue?
Kindest regards
