WJ switch locations

I have an 04 WJ im trying to figure out where to put my rocker switches for my hellas. im thinking of getting a small project box from radioshack and putting a couple of switches in the side, then im going to mount it under my driver side seat so i can access it easily. if anyone has pics of where they have aftermarket switches please post.

I've seen a few pictures of people mounting them in the same location as the pedal adjustment switch, either side by side or across on the other side of the steering wheel.

If you don't have heated seats, beside the ashtray is a nice open spot that isn't too hard to get to.

They should fit there. I just installed an after market heated seat switch there in my Laredo cause that's where the switch's are in my Limited and that panel is easy to get out. I can take a pic tomorrow and post.

I have four rocker switches mounted on the dash on the opposite side of the steering wheel of where you would find the pedal adjustment switch. The top plastic pops right out for easy instalation plenty of room for wires aswell. Ill post up a pic tomorrow.

I've seen a picture of someone on here that has their switches on the removable piece that is right below the gauge cluster. It looked real clean, only thing would be that you would have to stick your hand through the steering wheel to toggle them.

That is where my switches are thou I don't have a pic to show. Go out to your rig and pull on the piece of plastic underneath the gauge cluster...you should be able to pull it towards you. There are just 3 or 4 of the usual metal tabs that grip a hole in the dash. Grab a flatedge if it makes you feel better. Either way...there is a ton of room on both the left and right side and you can mount as many as you want.
