When I installed the BB at 265k miles (yes that's correct ) a few months ago, I kept the same stock springs and used all new isolators. The shocks are year old Monroe sensatracs from autozone or some other local parts store. They work great and ride just like stock height.

Just bathing in some mud.. Notice the log between my axle and the bank, I had to crawl in there with a saw..

Absolutely. I changed the front pads on mine the other day and low and the rotors were in pretty poor shape so now rather than spend $25 or so on new rotors from a parts shop I'm looking at slotted, ported rotors and some high quality pads that will cost a good bit more but will serve me better in the long run.

But OMG you should have seen the rotors when I changed the pads the other day....The vent holes are just completely crusted up with rust scale...I was hesitant to put the new pads on b/c I didn't realize the rotors were THAT bad but in the end the lack of $$$ overran the desire for high quality parts.....Until pay-day anyway LOL
