WJ - How to Install Rear Bump Stop IRO

I took out my old teraflex bump stops...went to install my IRO ones, and the threading is different. It doesnt seem to be the 1/2" 20 fine thread....anyone know what to tap to use. How do I install these bump stop extensions

I would just use the same bolts if they fit. I would just get longer bolts from the hardware store before trying to retap the hole

The bolt is counter sunk, and they have a hex design on the bolt...since there is not much space to have a socket to fit I suppose. If possible I would like to use the hardware they gave me, especially since I drilled the hole bigger to try to make them work like the guy from IRO said...I think he was confused though. Anyone have instructions for the rear from IRO

Just take the bolt to the hardware store and match it up with the tap. The instructions that they sent me were wrong and I ended up telling them what size tap I needed b/c they kept telling me incorrect sizes.
