Have just had a potential GC purchase evaluated by my local garage and as part of this they did a compression test.
The car's a 2004 Overland with the 4.7 HO engine with 75k miles approx
all cylinders reported 170 apart from number 4 which reported 145
test was done with engine thoroughly warmed.
What does this mean, am I looking at a new motor, a full top end rebuild or is it fine to leave as-is for a while?
