wj fender flares

I saw this jeep in a parking lot I did a search on the forum but could only find info on the Iceland fender flares and another fiberglass flare. Does anyone know where these come from? Maybe they came stock on the rocky mountain models?

They are either Iceland's or the knock off ones from Poland (on ebay).

Maybe its just me but they don't look like Iceland's flares where they meet the bumper.

They did not come stock with the Rocky Mountain package. That WJ looks pieced together from several different trim packages. It looks like they have the Freedom Edition front bumper, the Rocky Mountain Badging, and the standard Laredo lower door trim.

Yep. Probably started life as a Laredo and got some junkyard upgrades. Overall it looks pretty good though. Looks muscular.

I think its a freedom with rocky badges. The freedom comes with the laredo lower trim but usually for some reason the lower cladding on the freedom edition seem to hold up better color/fading wise than most 99-03 laredo. I'm not sure if this is only because its a 2004, or if the cladding itself was made a little differently to hold up better.

It seems like the front bumper cover meets the flares better than Iceland flares normally do. If they are Iceland I wonder if he did some work to them or does the Freedom Edition have a wider front bumper?

Damn now that you mention it the bumper does seem wider... Like if he didn't have those flares it would stick out and look retarted... Hmm..

That does look very good! Do you think he applied some heat, and pulled that stock plastic OUT to meet the flares? It seems a bit of heat, and some basic sheet metal, with skill and patience could pull that off.
