WJ Cowl Hood-pics/thoughts/opinions

Ive seen one WJ so far with a cowl-like hood. Other then that, I may have came across one other jeep with a custom hood (almost like a ram air style). I wanted to do some stuff to the Jeep while Im home for a month and I thought about adding a cowl to the hood. Basically I was thinking of getting one off of another vehicle, cutting out the cowl, measuring and placing it where Id want it, attach it, and then clean it up and have the hood painted. The hood needs paint as it is, so I thought why not try something new. I can always get another hood.

If anyone has any pictures or has tried this, let me know. I think a custom hood, if done right, would look great. Thanks.

I've always preferred this style of scoop but a cowl could look pretty killer too.

Not really feeling the cowl hoods on the WJ, I think the vented hoods that's some members have done look pretty good though. I am sure there are people that have pulled it off though

gcjeeping, the actual cowl looking one is more what I am going for. The stick ons are not for me. I think the hood of that red dodge is awesome, but with the lines of the hood on the WJ I dont think it would work.

X2. i am sure a search on here or the whole internet would find some ones that were nicely done.
